The Clay Marzo ‘Mad Cat’ Nominated For SIMA Surfboard Of The Year

SUPERbrand Surfboards and Apparel is pleased to announce that the Clay Marzo pro model, the Mad Cat, has been nominated by the Surf Industry Manufacturers Association (SIMA) as Surfboard of the Year for 2015.

Under the feet of one of the most dynamic surfers in the world, the Mad Cat has opened our eyes to what is possible on a surfboard. 100% involved in the design process of the Mad Cat (he even hand selected the artists to create the Mad Cat graphics), Clay Marzo has been surfing on it exclusively since early 2015, and has had a career year with multiple web edits, myriad editorial coverage, and sessions that have simply blown people away. And it’s not just Clay, fellow SUPERbrand team riders to consumers who picked one up at a shop have been raving about the performance and aesthetics of the Mad Cat.
